Thoughts from Pastor Greg & His Team

Weekend Reflections

Man it was great to be back withe the Palm Valley family this weekend!  It was such a privilege to worship together…

  • The praise team did an amazing job this weekend.  These guys & gals put in a ton of work and it showed.
  • The song “Cannons” is rockin’ my world… “I’m so unworthy, but still you love me” is the story of my life.
  • greeters/ushers are so faithful, especially when it’s 115 outside!
  • love teaching about reaching the lost with the good news about Jesus. Now PVC’ers, let’s go do it!
  • I was moved by the number of teachers and administrators who stood at the end of service.  What a cool opportunity to pray with them as they head back to school. I truly believe they’re on the front lines of reaching our culture for Christ!
  • heard my son Jake was rockin’ it out while leading worship in student ministries.  Such a joy to see my children developing a huge heart for Jesus and the local church.
  • So grateful for a church willing to invest in the next generations!
  • Got a cool note from a family who came to PVC for the kids ministry and have all accepted Christ in the last few months.
  • had a great bbq at some friends house after church. Love the deep friendships formed in our small group.  If you’re not in one, get in one now :)
  • I can’t believe how tired I was yesterday.  I forgot how draining 5 services can be.
  • Greeted after 3 of the 5 services, but the heat was draining me. Hate missing people but need the energy to teach.
  • Back to school this morning was fun. Loved seeing so many PVC’ers at school, ready to impact the place for Christ!
