The spring carnival is going to be awesome this weekend. Palm Valley’ers, make sure you invite families with children. It’s going to be a blast!
- 30,000 candy filled eggs dropped from a helicopter
- carnival rides
- bounce houses and slides
- free cotton candy and sno-cones
- the easter bunny
This is going to be a blast, and I’m praying for 1,000′s of first time guests at PVC, where we’ll help them know “that people matter”!

I feel like my head is spinning after the last few weeks. I’ve been involved in so many different tasks, it’s worn me out. Here’s some thoughts in my head…
- Ryan did an awesome job teaching last weekend. His questions about “first, all and everything” are still rockin’ my world.
- Was in an accident Saturday and I’m still sore. Just sitting at a red light when a guy ran into me. Thanks to all who are praying for me!
- Filmed video in Springfield, Illinois and St. Louis, Missouri this week for route66. Palm Valley’ers, don’t miss this weekend as we make a “pit stop” on the route66 journey.
- Can’t wait for the spring carnival this weekend, it’s going to be off the hook! Who are you bringing?
- Easter next week, it’s going to rock at PVC.
- The 8-9 year old basketball team I coach has reached the championship game, hope we can pull it off.
- I’m so proud of our staff, they’re carrying some large weights during this busy season, and doing it with a great deal of grace.
- I’m going to take a couple days off and rest before preaching 6 services for easter!
- I was told this week I share the gospel too much. I think it was meant as a slam. I take it as an honor to speak words of life to the dying.
- Lori and I attended a memorial service today, and Daniel and Darius did an awesome job leading the service.
- The Suns are starting to look good, I’ve been a big fan of the Shaq trade from the start, many others are joining the bandwagon.
- As a huge Tarheel fan, it was awesome to watch them dismantle Duke Saturday night. I called some friends and talked smack before the game

Last Friday night my good friend, Larry Misenko, lost his battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord. I rejoice at the peace Larry had in his final days, and the fact that He’s in the presence of Jesus, whom He loved dearly.
I know so many at Palm Valley were touched by Larry. If you’d like to attend his memorial, it will be held Saturday (tomorrow) at 12 noon at the Desert Edge High School auditorium.
