A bunch of our staff and legal trustees are in Honolulu for this conference. We’ve had a couple days to relax and have fun as a team. It’s been a great time of building relationships. Last night we grilled some burgers and hot dogs and just hung out. Spent the evening with the legal trustees dreaming about how to plan for the future challenges we face. I love their faith. I love the team God has called to Palm Valley.
The weather has been cold (for Hawaii) and windy, as well as some rain. It’s provided me with time to just rest. I didn’t realize how tired I was (physically and emotionally) until I just stopped to rest. It’s been cool to see all our staff having their quiet times with the Lord. I’m glad to know our pastors are men of the Word.
I’m excited to hear from Pastor Wayne Cordeiro. His book, The Divine Mentor, has had a HUGE impact on my life. I’m pumped to see New Hope Church in action, and to be spiritually refreshed and challenged.
Palm Valley’ers, please pray for the staff during this conference, that God would use it in an incredible way to grow us in the areas He wants us to grow!
