Standing Firm

This Sunday (audio/video here) we were looking at Ephesians 6:13…

“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

 

I unpacked it by talking about the plans the evil one has, and how he tries to lead Christ follower’s astray. As promised, here’s the things i mentioned satan seeks to do…

 

****Satan seeks to lead us to…

            —doubt God’s character and credibility

            —by making life difficult

            —be lazy (not learning, not serving)

            —become selfish (unwilling to give generously)   

            —be divided against other Christians

            —disobey God’s Word

 

By putting on the full armor of God each day, we can stand firm, and live victoriously. becoming all Christ created us to be!
